About Carer Support Services
Our Carer Support Programs are to assist people who are supporting a friend or loved one with mental illness. We offer a number of support options for carers and family members, as well as for the person themselves who is living with a mental illness.
Carer Support Groups
Our online support groups are for carers who are seeking new ways to navigate the challenges created by mental illness
These groups will assist people to:
- Meet other carers and share practical insights and helpful interventions
- Explore strategies for increasing resilience and building a network of support
Carer Counselling
Carers provide valuable support and care to their family members and loved ones. Skylight Mental Health understands that being a carer can be challenging at times.
We offer short-term counselling services for carers who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss as a result of their caring role.
